At The Simba Foundation, our mission is to rescue, heal, and advocate for animals in need — ensuring every pet experiences the love, safety, and dignity they deserve. Inspired by Simba’s legacy, we provide medical care, safe havens, and loving forever homes for vulnerable animals who have been abandoned, forgotten, or overlooked.
We specialize in rescuing stray and community animals through a compassionate approach to TNR. But unlike traditional trap-neuter-release programs, our goal is not to return animals to the streets. Whether they are feral, frightened, or facing medical challenges, we work tirelessly to rehabilitate them and match them with families who will offer them the life they’ve always deserved.
Education sits at the heart of our mission. We are committed to teaching the importance of animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, and keeping pets safe indoors. By raising awareness, we give a voice to those who don’t have one and help create communities rooted in compassion.
As we grow, we are working toward establishing a sanctuary in our hometown in Canada — a peaceful space where animals can rest, heal, and rebuild trust while awaiting their forever homes. We also plan to expand this mission to southern Italy, where the need for animal rescue, veterinary support, and structured shelter systems is especially urgent.
