Why we do what we do.
Our greatest loss turned into our greatest purpose. When we lost Simba to an aggressive cancer called Hemangiosarcoma, we made it our mission to share his story with the world. Though his physical presence is gone, his spirit lives on through every animal we rescue and in our hearts forever.
Simba was more than just a dog, he was family, a soul who embodied love, loyalty, and resilience. For 14 beautiful years, our Golden Labrador filled our lives with joy, adventure, and unconditional love. When he was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive and silent cancer, our world shattered. But even in his final months, Simba’s spirit remained unbreakable.
Determined to give him the best life possible, we poured our hearts into creating gourmet meals, researching treatments, and spreading awareness about this devastating disease. We documented his journey, sharing his story with the world, and in doing so, something extraordinary happened, Simba’s courage touched millions. He became a symbol of hope, inspiring people to cherish every moment with their pets and advocate for their well-being.
Though Simba is no longer physically by our side, his legacy is far from over. His unwavering spirit lives on in every animal we rescue, every life we touch, and every mission we undertake. The Simba Foundation was born from love, loss, and an unshakable commitment to making a difference. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy, we honor his memory by giving animals a second chance, just as we fought so hard to give him one.
